The problem: Road salt might cause corrosion in the rear frame.
This may cause the rear trailing arms to separate.
The rear frame includes bolt holes for mounting the rear trailing arms.
If the perforations corrode too much, they won't keep the arms in place.
The arms link to the rear suspension components. As a result, one is on each side
Because of the nature of the issue, Honda will offer to check the frame and recommend one of many solutions.
These include adding a bespoke support brace, fixing the back structure
