“A lot of people think we’ve seen aliens, but I’ve not seen any evidence of any.”
With over 6,000 satellites in orbit, Musk pointed out that SpaceX has never encountered an alien spacecraft or had to maneuver around one.
Classified Military Programs: The Real “UFOs”?
While Musk doubts alien sightings, he acknowledges the existence of highly classified military programs.
“It’s always a bunch of classified programs that are underway… new aircraft, new missiles, and things, so, they’re classified even in the military,” Musk explained.
Many of these projects are so secretive that even individuals with top-secret clearance may be unaware of them. This could explain why commercial airline pilots or ground controllers sometimes report strange, unexplained aerial phenomena.
“Some pilot sees something moving fast and says, ‘Oh yeah, I saw a UFO!’ I’m like, yeah, that’s actually a new weapons program… but we can’t tell you that.”
Will Elon Musk Be the One to Announce Alien Life?
While Musk doesn’t believe we’ve seen aliens, he promises to be the first to break the news if that changes.
“The split second I see any evidence of aliens, I will immediately post that on the X platform, and it will probably be our number one post of all time,” Musk told Carlson.
For now, his skepticism is a reminder that while we continue to explore the cosmos, there’s no concrete proof of extraterrestrial life.
