Purchasing a demo might be a smart choice if you’re a fan of the upcoming Tesla Model Y and want to obtain it for the least amount of money. Thankfully, there is also no lack of them, since a large number of demo Model Ys are available for prompt delivery throughout the United States for the first time since the redesigned Juniper emerged.
There are hundreds of Model Y demo vehicles available for purchase with savings ranging from $490 to more than $1,070 when looking through Tesla’s current inventory. These vehicles’ mileage varies. Smaller reductions of about $510 are normal for models with less than 1,000 miles on them, while those with larger discounts—often up to $1,000—usually have just under 2,000 miles on them.
Personal preference will determine whether or not discounts like this are sufficient to persuade consumers not to purchase a brand-new car. Personally, I would rather spend the extra money simply to avoid operating a vehicle that has been “evaluated” and probed by countless inquisitive test drivers throughout its brief existence. However, many people still struggle with the expense of living, so any savings is welcome.

Additionally, a sample version of the short-lived Tesla car Y Launch Series car is available. We have located two of these well-equipped models, which were only accessible for a short period of time. The first has traveled 2,424 miles (3,901 km) and is painted Stealth Grey. When the $7,500 federal EV tax credit is taken into account, the price drops to $51,290 after a $1,200 savings.

You may save $600 by purchasing a second Model Y Launch Series, painted in Ultra Red, for $51,890 (after the tax credit). It has only been driven 1,340 kilometers, or 833 miles.
Only if you want all of the perks that come with the Model Y Launch Series does it offer decent value for the money. All of the extras, including 20-inch wheels, a trailer hitch, acceleration boost, and a full color palette, were available to those who requested it. Most significantly, it comes with Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised) package, which is typically an add-on that costs $7,500. However, other from the FSD and the acceleration increase, the sample Launch Editions in stock may not have every component of the original bundle.
The Long Range AWD variant is the only one eligible for the current 1.99% APR financing offer. Launch Edition and Long Range RWD are ineligible. Additionally, Tesla just reduced the lease prices for both AWD and RWD models, which could make the monthly payments a little more manageable.
