The starting price of the Maruti Dzire 2024 (on-road, Mumbai) was just announced at Rs 7.91 lakh. The sedan’s 5-star GNCAP crash test rating startled the market. But is the new Dzire worth the Rs 50,000 price tag over the previous model? Which variation should you take into account as well?
Maruti Dzire 2024
Maruti has given the Dzire a whole new look, a greater list of features, and a new engine for 2024! The sedan has new LED crystal vision headlights, a wide grille, and redesigned bumpers up front. Along with the revised bumpers, the back end also has an aerodynamic boot lip spoiler, a three-dimensional LED taillight, and a new shark fin antenna. The 15-inch alloy wheels have a fresh design, but the side profile is still the same.
Entering the cabin, we observe that it was taken from the new Swift. A floating 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an electric sunroof, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, automated air conditioning, and a new dual-tone black and beige color scheme are some of the key features. Six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, TPMS, and a 360-degree camera are also included with all versions.
With a 5-speed manual or AMT transmission, the 1.2-liter Z-series 3-cylinder petrol engine generates 81 and 112 horsepower. According to Maruti, the vehicle can get up to 25.71 km/l. The new Dzire from Maruti comes in four different models: ZXi (MT/AMT/CNG), VXi (MT/AMT/CNG), LXi, and ZXi+ (MT/AMT).
Maruti Dzire LXi: Rs 7.91 lakh (on-road, Mumbai)
Only the gasoline manual option is available for the basic LXi model. Important features available are:
14-inch steel wheels, LED taillights, projector headlights, shark fin antennas, boot lip spoilers, and six airbags
All seats include 3-point seat belts with seat belt reminders; front and rear power windows; manual air conditioning; ESP; hill hold assistance; ABS with EBD; reverse parking sensors; rear defogger; and remote central locking.

The features include: R14 steel wheels with full wheel covers; electrically foldable ORVM; body-colored door handles; day/night IRVM; 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit; wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; steering-mounted audio and call control; USB & Bluetooth; four speakers; rear AC vents; rear armrest with cup holder; rear fast-charging USB with phone pocket; electrically adjustable ORVM; and a driver seat that can be adjusted in height.
Maruti Dzire ZXi: Rs 10.46 lakh to Rs 11.15 lakh
CNG and gasoline are once again available for the Dzire ZXi. The VXi variant’s salient characteristics include:
Two tweeters; • Wireless charging; • Automatic air conditioning; • LED crystal vision headlights; • LED DRLs; • 15-inch alloy wheels
Push-start and stop buttons for the engine, key-fob trunk opening, auto headlights that follow me home and guide me to the car, reverse parking cameras, TPMS, and Suzuki Connect suite
Dzire ZXi+: Rs 11.38 lakh to Rs 12.10 lakh
The only versions of the top-spec ZXi+ that are offered are the gasoline manual and automatic. The flagship model has several cutting-edge amenities, such as leather-wrapped steering wheels and LED fog lights.
Features include a 360-degree camera, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an electric sunroof, cruise control, and auto fold-on locking for ORVM.
The top-spec ZXi+ model is the only one with the newest technologies, such the motorized sunroof and 360-degree camera. But in our opinion, the ZXi version provides the finest value. Both CNG and gasoline (MT/AMT) are available for this model. It also includes standard features like LED lighting and alloy wheels. It is crucial to keep in mind that Honda will be introducing the next-generation Amaze on December 4 before deciding to buy the new Dzire.
