A Tesla Cybertruck owner recently posted a repair estimate for the work done to fix his Cybertruck on X.
Sergio Rodriguez, the owner, provided the estimate as an update on the fender-bender he had in August
which was not his fault (as evidenced by the commenters' camera footage).
Mid-drive, a merging car sideswiped his Cybertruck from the passenger side. Rodriguez added,
"I’m ok, I think she floored it after making contact, it spun my truck on the wet road," to his X post thread.
His Cybertruck had rather significant damage; he had to repaint the whole passenger side of the vehicle
and replace the complete front and back passenger side door shells, trim panels and strips, and rear hinge.
Additionally, he shared a photo of a rear suspension that was out of alignment with the description
Eric, another owner of a Tesla Cybertruck, released footage of his identical mishap on his YouTube account Butter_EV.
He was side swiped on the highway by a merging automobile.
He tells that it took around two weeks from the day of the accident until his Tesla was restored
