If you want an off-road vehicle, Honda isn’t exactly the first brand that springs to mind. However, everything has its first time, don’t you think?
This is the brand-new Honda Passport for the US market. Absolutely, take a look at that SUV’s Sunset Orange paint job. In essence, Honda chose to adopt the Raptor’s strategy with the Passport’s TrailSport variant.
The boxy shape certainly display sturdiness, but we can’t help but picture the Nissan Terrano from the 90s with the way Honda created the squarish front end and the location of those hood vents.
The TrailSport comes equipped with steel skid plates, flared fenders that hold 31-inch all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels, an off-road tuned suspension that provides more ground clearance and improved approach/departure angles, and heavy-duty recovery hooks in bright colors in case the trail gets too difficult.

Powering the 2026 Honda Passport is an enhanced version of the 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine, delivering 285 PS and 355 Nm of torque linked to a 10-speed automatic transmission that transfers power to all four wheels via the i-VTM4 all-wheel-drive system.
The Passport features seven driving and terrain modes that can be selected, and it has a TrailWatch video system to assist drivers in navigating hazards on the less-traveled route.
